On Saturday, April, 30, Autism Tennessee held its annual Birthday Bash at the Adventure Science Center.
Guests enjoyed the facility in a fun and sensory friendly way. Later that evening, Autism Tennessee held its Birthday After-Bash fundraiser on the second floor of the Adventure Science Center. The event featured a silent auction and live auction, a Birthday Club table to write birthday cards to members of the autism community, a live DJ, and delicious food and drink. The program included speakers from the Autism Tennessee staff and board and also included a moving tribute by Crystal Miller, mother to Chris Miller. Chris, who tragically passed away last year, is known for creating Captain Spectrum, an anti-bullying comic book character. Autism Tennessee set up a scholarship in his name.
